Digital technology was invented in 1679 by Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. Later on it was popularized by Samuel Johnson. In the article Digital by Jessica Dos Santos the author points out how in today’s world it would be hard for people to imagine life without social media. The reason behind it is that we use it every day even for the jobs that we do. Technology has been around for decades and it has improved every year in my opinion. Years later the first computer was created in 1946. Which really changed the world we live in today. Computers have become so advanced nowadays that we have so many different devices that we can do more than a computer can on them. In today’s world digital technology is everywhere we look today, which is cool in my opinion because it makes a lot of stuff easier for us every day. Digital technology has made a great impact on today’s society. We have a lot of technology that helps everyone today. For example, cellphones are so advanced as to where you can ask questions, and it will give you more information or the answer to your question. Also, we have AI as well today that can actually answer any question you ask it or if you need them to do something. For example, you can copy and paste an article and tell them to summarize it for you. It may not be a hundred percent accurate, but it will give you an answer. In my opinion, with digital technology we have a lot of good and new tools that help us daily. Which i feel as though we tend to take for granted.
