There is no such thing as true digital privacy. We may think that using a private browser is the solution; it’s really not. It’s not something that people usually think of on the daily, but if you were to really delve into it you’d realize your life isn’t as private as you think. So many websites track what their users are doing on the website, but what about off? Anytime you see a website that says accept cookies, you might just accept it to get it out of the way and over with. In doing so this gives the website permission to gather data on you. This data depending on the website usually tells them what you visit and what your interests are so they can garner certain ads to you. Another aspect is when we use WiFi.
You think it may be safe when you are out and about using public WiFi, but thats not exactly the case. Where ever you go that has free WiFi also has free access to your search history. For example going to a hotel , using their WiFi they would be able to track what you’re searching. Whoever is the WiFi provider has full access to what’s being done on the wife that they pay for, so this goes for your at home wife as well. Digital privacy is making sure you’re taking the correct measures to protect yourself. You can limit your online presence some as well as use safe browsers. You don’t want just anyone to have access to you.
