In this blog post, I’ll be talking about Digital Rhetoric, and like in my previous blog post, this is another thing that relates to the digital medium.

This text basically explains that Digital rhetoric is rhetoric that has a connection to computer-mediated communication. I learned what it means through my knowledge of digital literacy and my knowledge of what rhetoric is. Since I’ve already gone over it defining this word is a lot easier.

See rhetoric is when someone is using ways to try and convince you of something. So based on that information this word must mean someone trying to convince you of something through digital means. So, this would mean using different types of media like videos and blog posts.

One thing to take note of is you cannot use digital rhetoric if you are not literate with digital things. This is because in order to use it you need to be able to use things like a website and understand how to communicate to whoever your audience could be.

This makes sense because how can you convince someone of something through a tool that you don’t even know how to use? So, in conclusion the meaning of digital rhetoric Is easier to understand once you know what the words digital mean and you are literate here. Once you take what you’ve learned from the meanings of those 2 words you understand more of what that word means is. On top of this, you understand the importance of Digital Literacy when it comes to understanding this word.
